The Wiscasset First Congo will be grilling up hot dogs, both for sale and for our FREE children meals. A big thank you to them and our sponsor Square Edge Construction!

SUN Bucks is back this summer! SUN Bucks helps Maine parents ensure kids get the nutrition they need while school is out. Each eligible school-aged kid receives a one-time $120 EBT benefit to spend on groceries. Most eligible kids will be automatically enrolled. Keep an eye out for an approval letter in the mail. Calling all bakers! Feed Our Scholars will be down at Wiscasset Wormfest on June 13 selling baked goods to benefit Feed Our Scholars and Set for Success. If you'd like to bake for this event please reach out to us or just drop something by at St. Philip's on Friday or at our Wormfest tent before 3 on Saturday. Favorites include cookies, brownies, cupcakes, mini loaves, bread, pies, jams and jellies. Package up individually or in small batches. Your help is greatly appreciated!

This Wednesday, April 29 at Wiscasset Middle High School gymnasium will be a SPECIAL TOWN MEETING to consider and approve the 2026-2027 Wiscasset School Budget.
A School Committee Special Meeting will take place at 5:30 PM followed by the presentation of the articles and public vote at 6:00 PM.

What a great time was had at our Spring Basket Weaving Fundraiser! Thanks to all who came out on a brisk March day to learn to make baskets. Huge thanks to Maré LeMay of Mindful Gardens who donated her time, expertise and materials to lead TWO workshops for almost 40 participants. $800 was raised to support the programs of Wiscasset Feed Our Scholars. We are so grateful to all - and proud of the beautiful baskets you made! Happy Spring! 🌸

Have you just had a baby or are expecting? Plan to attend the Healthy Kids Day event at CLC YMCA in Damariscotta on April 11 and stop by the Maternal Mobile Health Clinic for access to diapers, car seats, health screenings and more. 🤰🏼

The FREE Maternal Mobile Health clinic will be at Healthy Kids Day at on Saturday, April 11th from 9 to 11 AM. Get access to diapers, car seats, health screenings, and many other services though this great program from MMA Center for Quality Improvement, Maine DHHS, and Public Health Nursing.

🌷 We're looking forward to Spring and our upcoming Spring Basket Weaving Class on March 28 at 10 am and 2 pm. Maré LeMay of Mindful Gardens will lead this class at her shop in Wiscasset. $20 for adults, $15 for kids 12+ with adult. We send weekly bags of food home for a select group of families, but if you’d like to help ALL STUDENTS consider donating snacks so that kids have a little something extra during the day. 👍🏻
