The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for 76-year-old Terri Benner of Pemaquid. Ms. Benner who suffers from cognitive issues was last seen on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at approximately 1:30 PM at her home on Bristol Road in Pemaquid. Ms. Benner is a white female, 5’00”, 200 lbs., with gray hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a white and blue nightgown. She is driving a silver 2004 Toyota Tundra with Maine registration 511LDE. She does not have a cell phone. If located please call the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office at 207.882.7332.

Happy Earth Day!

Today the Lincoln County Recycling Facility is open to the public from 4-6pm!

54 Huntoon Hill Rd, Wiscasset, Maine

This event is kid friendly so come one come all and learn how Lincoln County recycles!

Join us next Wednesday as Lincoln County Recycling hosts an Earth Day Open House!

Celebrate Earth Day with a behind-the-scenes look at how recycling and composting work in Lincoln County.

🌎 The Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission invites the public to an Earth Day Open House at the Lincoln County Recycling Plant on Wednesday, April 22, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 54 Huntoon Hill Road in Wiscasset.

🪴 Attendees can tour the facility, learn about local recycling and composting programs, and take part in a hands-on activity by planting a native plant using locally produced compost.

♻️ This free, family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to better understand local waste management and support sustainable practices in the community.
