Our primary purpose is to meet the educational, informational, and recreational needs of Roosevelt County. Your library card allows you to borrow books, magazines, audio-books, DVD’s, hotspots and also to use our public computers.

“What? I never knew the library had these things!”
It’s a statement Roosevelt County librarians and staff hear a lot when it comes to all of the resources, programs, and services available across the county. Many people think the library is just about children’s storytimes or books. But in fact, we’re that and so much more!
Here are 24 Great Reasons why you and everyone in your family should sign up for a library card and use this valuable community resource. Plus, September is the perfect month to get everyone library cards — it’s National Library Card Signup Month!
1. Because the library is about more than just books.
2. Because 5 out of 5 doctors agree reading aloud to children supports brain development.
