Great outcomes start with great teamwork.

Recently, our Parker crew responded to a scene call involving a highly combative patient. Thanks to the quick actions and support of the Quartzsite Police Department and La Paz Unified Fire & Medical District, our flight team was able to safely deliver critical care and help achieve a positive outcome.

After the call, our crew returned to personally thank Officer Espinoza and the first responders who had our backs. Proud to work alongside such dedicated public safety partners in La Paz County. 👏

At GMR, we are proud of the lifesaving care all our emergency medical service (EMS) professionals provide nationwide, improving outcomes, together. Today, we kick off celebrating them and will continue to do so throughout one of our most meaningful observances of the year: National EMS Week!

We are also honored to recognize a select few, whose stories exemplify the expertise, commitment and purpose that define this profession, beginning with Connie Frost.

As one of the program safety officers for Guardian Flight’s AeroCare Medical Transport flight clinicians, Connie bridges the complex space between daily medicine and EMS, teaching teams how to analyze countless variables to deliver the highest level of care. It’s that challenge, she says, that makes the work so rewarding.
