Today is Social Media Giving Day!
When you support the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area, you're doing so much more than preserving history—you're investing in the places that make Yuma unique.
As the nonprofit organization entrusted with managing and preserving three of Yuma's most treasured destinations, your support helps us care for:
Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park – Celebrating 150 years of history in 2026, this iconic landmark welcomes visitors from around the world and shares the stories that shaped the Old West.
Colorado River State Historic Park – Once the Quartermaster Depot that supplied military forts across the Southwest, today it preserves Yuma's rich military, transportation, and river history while offering educational exhibits and community events.
Yuma East Wetlands – A remarkable restoration success story, the wetlands provide wildlife habitat, outdoor recreation, environmental education, and a beautiful natural space for our community to enjoy.
Every donation helps us maintain, preserve, promote, and restore these incredible places while providing educational programs, family events, cultural celebrations, and opportunities for future generations to connect with Yuma's history and natural resources.
As we celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Yuma Territorial Prison, we're reminded that preserving our community's history is only possible because of people like you.
If you believe Yuma's history, culture, and natural beauty deserve to be protected for generations to come, we invite you to support our mission today.
