To establish and sustain a society that cherishes African Values and to create conditions for economic independence, prosperity and equitable distribution of wealth of the nation. To preserve and defend the National Sovereignty and Independence of Zimbabwe. To Uphold and apply fully the rule of Law, Equality before the law and Equality of opportunities for all people in Zimbabwe, regardless of race, tribe s*x, religion or origin. Continue to participate in the worldwide struggle for the complete eradication of imperialism, colonialism and all forms of racism. To support and promote all effects for the attainment of the Pan African goal for the complete independence and unity of African states. To oppose resolutely, tribalism, regionalism and forms of exploitation of man by man.

His Excellency President Dr ED Mnangagwa today presided over the Zimbabwe Women Excellence in Sustainable Tourism and Environmental Conservation Awards Ceremony held in support of Vision 2030 and NDS2.

The award recipients comprised of trailblazers from Government, the judiciary, defence, aviation, business, education, policing, tourism and sport, highlighting the increasing role of women in leadership, decision-making and national development.

Those honoured include First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa, Minister of Defence Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, Senate President Cde Mabel Chinomona, Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry Hon Barbara Rwodzi, IOC President Dr Kirsty Coventry, and Chief Justice Elizabeth Gwaunza, among other distinguished pioneers.
