It’s that time of the year when many of our members deploy to participate in our major field exercise. Over this period our members may have limited or no access to phones, internet and other communication methods due to the nature of training and operational requirements.

Should an urgent matter arise, 2 HB members can be contacted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the Battalion duty system:
- 2 HB Duty Officer - 📞 0447 303 237.

We encourage all family and friends utilise the following support services should the need arise over the exercise period.
- 2 HB Padre - 0438 761 327
- On call Chaplaincy - 0437 254 487
- Defence Member and Family Support (DMFS) - 1800 624 608 or email [email protected]
- Defence All-Hours Support Line - 1800 628 036
- Open Arms - 1800 011 046

Thank you for your ongoing support to our members, our strength lies not only in our operational capability, but also in the family’s and community that support us.

Another productive Reserve training night for 2nd Health Battalion, focused on strengthening interoperability and integration with other units across the battlespace.
Members trained together in a range of low light/no light tactical scenarios, practicing the delivery of medical care in challenging and dynamic environments. By working alongside our counterparts from other units, we continue to develop the skills, communication, and coordination required to provide effective medical support wherever and whenever it is needed.
Training together ensures we are prepared to respond as a capable and cohesive team in support of operations.
