Our Millennium Cherry has started to bloom! 🌸

This warm-climate hybrid was specially selected for our Gardens for its ability to blossom in Brisbane’s conditions, where traditional cherries often struggle to flower reliably.

Its flowering season is short and special, and it’s only just begun.
So, if you’re planning to visit the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha, come in the next few days to see it in the Japanese Garden at its peak before the flowers fade.

Don't let your waste vouchers go to waste! ♻️

If you have last financial year’s waste vouchers sitting in a drawer, put them to use and clear out some clutter before they expire on 31 August.

✅ Each household receives 10 free waste vouchers every financial year
✅ You can use them for general or green waste at our resource recovery centres
✅ Each voucher covers up to 100 kg of waste
✅ Need to dispose of more? You can use up to 10 vouchers per transaction
