In 1927, the world looked a little different...
โ๏ธ The first-ever transatlantic phone call connected London and New York

๐ฆ๐บ Joseph Lyons was Premier of Tasmania, and just five years later he became Australia's Prime Minister
That same year, down on Bluff Beach, a handful of locals were forming a club with one purpose: to keep our community safe in the water. A hundred years on, that purpose hasn't changed. We're still training, still patrolling, and still watching the water together.
Next year, we turn 100.
