Today we recognise two very important events, as 10 September is both World Su***de Prevention Day and R U OK? Day.

The message at the heart of both days is simple: reach out, check in, and take the time to connect. A conversation could change a life.

Every chat, no matter how small, builds a more supportive and understanding society. Together, we can make a difference and prioritise su***de prevention, ensuring everyone gets the help they need.

Yesterday, our CEO Dan Vautin attended a special event recognising International Overdose Awareness Day.

Hosted by the Drug Education Network Inc. and Pharmacy Guild Of Australia - Tasmania Branch, the event highlighted the important role we can all play in helping prevent overdose.

A powerful presentation from Lived Experience advocate Lily Foster emphasised the need for greater focus on harm reduction and the opportunities we have to reduce preventable overdose deaths in Tasmania.
