To better understand what Tasmanians need in the future, weโ€™re inviting you to participate in a short survey about your experiences living here. Weโ€™d love to know what is easy or hard about living in Tasmania, how connected you feel to your community, and the things that may influence you to leave or stay in your local area and in Tasmania.

โœ–๏ธ tasmanian.com.au/population-survey

The survey takes 7 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous. It is open to anyone age 18 or older who is either currently living in Tasmania, or has lived here sometime in the past five years.

Share your thoughts, and you can choose to go into a prize draw to win one of five $50 gift cards.

Thank you for helping to shape Tasmaniaโ€™s future!

This study has been approved by the University of Tasmania Human Research Ethics Committee (H40733).

Great to catch-up with Anglicare Tas this week to hear more about the breadth of services they provide, and discuss the challenges facing Tasmaniaโ€™s community services industry and the people and communities we support.

We also heard about whatโ€™s on the boil for Anglicareโ€™s Social Action and Research Centre (SARC), with their work continuing to build a strong evidence-base across key areas, including housing security, financial wellbeing and more.

Thanks to the Anglicare Tasmania team for the valuable conversation and insights.

โ›ฝ How are fuel costs affecting your organisation?

For many community service organisations, travel is essential to delivering services, particularly in rural and regional Tasmania.

TasCOSS wants to understand how fuel disruptions and higher prices are affecting service delivery, staff and volunteers, client access, operating costs and your organisationโ€™s ability to keep delivering essential services.

๐Ÿ‘‰ https://bit.ly/CommunityServicesPulseCheck

Your experience will help us build the evidence to advocate for practical government support and sustainable funding that reflects the real cost of service delivery.
