Tuesday 5 May 2026 - Flyers Creek Wind Farm Tour.

Yesterday, Josh and Kirsten had a fascinating day learning about the complexities of wind farm infrastructure, community engagement, environmental rehabilitation projects and concerns, along with the simple joy of just seeing the wind turbines up close!

The project is complex and major construction was finished in 2025, with over 30 wind farms across three sections of the site - over 160m tall with over 20 host properties.

The group was hosted with thanks by Iberdola and facilitated by Central NSW Joint Organisation.
