Regional Development Australia Central West is bringing Strengthening Conversations to Orange, Cowra, and Parkes this September, supporting stronger communication across the region's rural workforce.

These FREE SESSIONS presented by Lewis Bird of The Amend Project are designed for farmers, tradies, truck drivers and other workers in physically demanding, often isolated industries, providing practical tools to build trust, strengthen communication, and encourage individuals, workers and team mates to look out for one another, at work, at home and in the community.

This is one of our favourite dates on the calendar. Every year, Central West Inspired Women teams up with the Australian National Field Days for an afternoon bringing together women from right across the region.

What a great turnout in Grenfell last week for our free Business Masterclass workshop, Introduction to Reels and Smartphone Photography, with Sophie Hansen Local is Lovely.

Everyone left with real, practical skills, from taking better photos and video on their phone to building Reels and carousels that actually connect with people.

Thank you to everyone who came along, to Sophie for such a generous and practical session, and a special thank you to Weddin Shire Council for their support in bringing this workshop to Grenfell.

RDA Central West is bringing our Central West Inspired Women program to Grenfell for Connected Conversations.

This event is designed to bring local women together in a way that feels relaxed, purposeful and genuinely engaging, moving beyond traditional networking into real conversation and shared experience. Through guided discussions and small group interaction, attendees will connect with others, exchange ideas and learn from women building, growing and navigating similar paths across the region.

Guest speakers on the night are Alexandra MacAlpine, Elyse McKnight, Natalie Caruana and Sarah Ryan.

Great to see NSW Minister for Energy Penny Sharpe speaking at the National Renewables in agriculture Conference and Expo earlier this month, held right here in Orange, alongside conference founder and local Karin Stark. RDA Central West had a stand on the day, with Fiona, Lynda and committee member Christine Weston there to represent us and take in a full day of conversations about on farm renewables and what they could mean for farmers across our region.
