A landslide has occurred between Taba and Dechencholing Bridge,and currently, only one lane is accessible to travelers.

Thromde will be clearing the debris at the earliest, and we kindly request everyone’s understanding regarding any traffic delays.
For public safety, please be advised that loose boulders and stones are still rolling continuously along this stretch.All motorists are strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution, remain alert, and avoid stopping unnecessarily in the affected area.

A case of illegal waste disposal has been reported at YHS Way on 23/08/2026. The incident was captured by CCTV footage, showing the driver of vehicle number BP-1-E4379 dumping waste from the vehicle at the site before leaving the area.

The driver is hereby directed to report to the Thromde Environment Division within seven (7) days from the date of this notice during office hours to clarify and settle the matter.

𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝗝𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹
Thimphu Thromde today held the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of an Integrated Classroom at Jigme Losel Primary School, marking an important milestone towards strengthening inclusive and supportive learning facilities for students.

The ceremony was officiated by the Thrompon and attended by monks, school representatives, and other stakeholders.

The work has been awarded to M/s Passang Construction Private Limited and is scheduled for completion by August 2028. The Integrated Classroom will provide a conducive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs, supporting a more inclusive and accessible school community.
