We will be hosting our Aboriginal Day at Kinnaird Park in Castlegar again. This event will be from 10-2 with vendors, demonstrations and activities for the whole family.

Over the past year, we've been working hard to refresh our brand and launch a new website that better reflects who we are today and the communities we serve. While our look may have changed, our commitment to supporting individuals, families, seniors, women, children, and our broader community remains stronger than ever.

The Castlegar Youth Action Network is actively seeking volunteers to support our weekly youth group. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to get more involved in our community, or would like to expand their work experience. 18+, own transportation preferred but not required, training provided! Castlegar Better At Home Team. Missing are Jen the 8th Contracted Housekeeper who just completed 10 years with the program, and Linda, Christie, and Rob who work behind the scenes on invoicing, accounting etc. Thanks to u all! Castlegar B@H began in 2012, is a program of United Way BC, funded by the Ministry of Health, and hosted by Castlegar Community Services. Also noteable are 2 Social Work Practicum Students Lily and Aminat. So great to have u.
