SUCCESS STORY 🎉

After facing three months of unemployment, housing instability, and the aftermath of a devastating car accident that left him without transportation, Kent could have easily felt defeated. Instead, he chose to step through the doors of WorkBC Centre Chilliwack, determined to rebuild. With the support of dedicated staff, Kent accessed essential resources, including gas cards, new workwear, and tailored one-on-one case management. Despite financial strain that forced him to take out a loan while job searching, he remained focused on moving forward. He strengthened his skills through First Aid training and accessed the tools and technology he needed to stay job ready.

With consistent support, encouragement, and the right opportunities, he secured a full-time position as a Semi-Automated Side Load Driver with Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd. His story is a reminder that, even in the toughest circumstances, taking that first step and having the right support can lead to incredible new beginnings.
