Your creation must be picked out and paid for no later than May 20th to allow Michelle time to work her cement magic.

Have you met our volunteer, Anita? Alternating weeks, sometimes we draw and sometimes we paint, but we always have a good time! You don't need any previous art experience to walk away from Art in the Afternoon feeling like you have created a masterpiece. Art in the Afternoon runs every Wednesday from 1pm-3pm until the end of May. Whether you come for one session or every week, we would love to have you join us!

Have you heard of Lemonade Day? Lemonade Day is a free and very fun youth entrepreneurship program where kids are taught how to start and operate their own business - a lemonade stand! Lemonade Day is June 13th this year. Before you can partake in Lemonade Day, you must first go to Lemonade University! The library is hosting Lemonade University this year and we are offering 2 different time slots. A kid must attend with a mentor and registration is necessary. Head to our website to register!

Who still needs to register for our Crafternoon this month?! We have Michelle Hayes joining us for a fun afternoon while we paint her beautiful cement creations! There is a whole catalogue of pieces to choose from - everything from the turtle pictured below to gnomes to stepping stones to birds! Be sure to stop by sooner than later as we cannot accept registration after the 20th to give Michelle time to make your cement masterpiece. We can't wait to see what you paint!
