At the beginning of September, while I was in Armstrong for the Pro Tour Finals, I had the opportunity to spend time with friends and family. What I love most about rodeo is how it continually brings people together!

Happy National Day of the Cowgirl!
(Featuring C**t Calvert)

For those who may not know, I’m a Registered Veterinary Technologist! What I cherish most about my education is how seamlessly I can integrate my knowledge into my role as a rodeo queen. It’s all about sharing insights into our industry, from the importance of proper hoof care and doctoring an eye to the countless details that keep our horses healthy and happy. I believe it’s vital to educate future generations about the dedication and hard work that goes into our field.

So, on this special day and every day, may you embody the grit, grace, and confidence of the Cowgirl!

My heart will always find its home in the quiet moments behind the scenes. Tonight, meeting Celeste, our Golden Circle princess, and her older sister Chloee at Oldstoberfest was the highlight of the performance. These two have such a beautiful spark that I wish everyone could have experienced it.

Thank you, Rodeo, for moments like these.💛💙

Yesterday, we explored the town of Olds and visited some generous sponsors!

My favorite part of the day was spending time with some wonderful individuals at Mountain View Lodge, followed by a radio interview with 96.5 The Ranch!

More rodeo fun kicks off tonight at 6 PM in Olds!

Last Saturday, I had the honour of meeting the Mighty Maverick at Buckin at the Brook. As one of our Golden Circle of Champions, Mav truly embodies resilience. We had the chance to chat briefly, and I was thrilled to exchange an autograph for some of his signature stickers as a memento. Maverick, your courage is inspiring, and there’s so much we can all learn from you. You truly are a champion! Golden Circle of Champions
