This old guy was found near the mining Road last night just laying on the side of the road right off Golden Donald Upper. Looks to potentially have been missing or own his own for quite awhile. Please message if you have been missing him!

💔 Sweet Cheeto needs a little extra love!

Cheeto came into Little Mittens’ care after being surrendered. We were told he had gotten into vinegar, but when we bathed him, the substance on his fur started to suds up, leaving us wondering if it might have been something else.

Sadly, Cheeto has some pretty significant chemical burns. Our vet guided us through safely bathing him again, and he’s now receiving antibiotics, pain medication, and a special cream to help him heal.

Despite being in obvious pain, Cheeto has been an absolute angel. ❤️ Even while the vet shaved and cleaned his painful wounds, he patiently allowed us to help him.

Our vet also reminded us that when an animal may have been exposed to an unknown chemical, contacting poison control can help identify the substance and determine the safest next steps. A valuable lesson for all pet owners!

What was supposed to be a straightforward rescue pickup has turned into an unexpected veterinary bill. Little Mittens is almost entirely volunteer-run, and these surprise expenses add up quickly.

If you’re able to donate toward Cheeto’s care, we would be so grateful. Sharing his story helps, too!

This sweet boy deserves to heal, feel safe, and know that he’s loved. 💕

This adorable 13-year-old Miniature Pinscher is good with cats and dogs and still active for their age! There’s plenty of life and love left in this little companion. 🥰

Someone at our recent puppy meet and greet mentioned they were looking for a senior dog, but we can’t remember who it was! If that was you, please reach out, we’d love to connect.

Interested in offering this little one a home? Send Little Mittens a message and fill out an application www.littlemittens.org 🐾🐾
