K-W Seniors Day Program The K-W Seniors Day Program promotes wellness and dignity for older adults with physical, cognitive and/or medical issues.

Dedicated to helping older adults maintain individual health and wellness, a higher quality of life, and self esteem through a variety of social and wellness activities. Currently, we are operating our program at a reduced capacity and in alignment with Public Health standards for safe operations with physical distancing and Infection Control measures in place for the safety of all. We are able to support 6 clients per day, 5 days per week in a temporary space located at the Village of University Gates in the Research Institute for Aging building. Although we are not able to offer in person programming to all of our clients, we are still providing services through virtual visits, phone visits and in-person visits to maintain meaningful social engagement. Goal and Objectives:
* to reduce isolation and loneliness
* to prevent or delay physical decline
* to promote socialization and enjoyment
* to provide respite for caregivers
* to encourage and promote community reintegration
* to be an alternative to premature institutionalization
* to support aging in the home of your choice


Disclaimer:
K-W Seniors Day Program COVID-19 Safety Plan Policies are in place during this pandemic. Personal Protective Equipment is required for the duration of in-person visits in program and for personal home visits. Client masks may be lowered during meals and for photographic purposes only. Clients are spaced at a 6 foot (2 meter) distance from other clients during activities and meals. Disinfection of program space is done regularly to mitigate possible surface transmission. All staff are fully vaccinated and are rapid tested daily at program site location.

It's been such a fantastic Carnival Week! 🎪✨ We all had a wonderful time filled with laughter, silliness, and so many beautiful smiles. 😊📸 We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our clients who participated in the festivities 🥳, the dedicated volunteers who gave their time to help us 🤝, and, of course, our amazing staff for putting together such an eventful week! 🎉👏

We kicked off our carnival-themed week today with an morning full of fun, laughter, and a little friendly competition! 🎯🎉
