It was a wonderful evening filled with learning, laughter, new friendships. Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared in this experience. Thank you Cydney for teaching tonight

Today, we honour the 120th anniversary of the passing of Gabriel Dumont (1837–1906) — Métis leader, buffalo hunt chief, military strategist, and defender of Métis rights.

Gabriel Dumont played a vital role in shaping Métis history, and his legacy continues to inspire Métis communities across generations through resilience, leadership, and cultural pride.

Today, we remember and honour his contributions to our shared history. ∞
