Lakehead Social Planning Council Providing dynamic leadership for social change and the betterment of community

Our vision is to provide dynamic leadership for social change and the betterment of community. We are dedicated to building a better community through strategic alliances, social research and the provision of valid, reliable information. The LSPC is home to 211 Ontario North which provides information and referral services to Northern Ontario. Other important services provided by the LSPC include

the Good Food Box, Free Income Tax Clinics and a public computer access site. There are typically several projects the LSPC is involved with at any time including Poverty Free Thunder Bay and Graffiti Guard.

Our South Side Mermaids are stranded at the United Way of Thunder Bay's Lighthouse Rescue! ๐Ÿงœโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ

The tide is rising, and our mermaids - Ola, Julie and Holly Gauvin need your help to find their way!

Just like 211 Ontario North and Lakehead Social Planning Council help people navigate challenges and connect with vital resources in our community, we're asking you to help guide our mermaidโ€™s.
