The Canada Games Complex was built to host the aquatic events of the 1981 Canada Summer Games including swimming, diving and waterpolo. ⚠️ Due to current smoke conditions and extremely poor air quality, several City of Thunder Bay outdoor programs, activities, and facilities are temporarily closed today. ⚠️

This includes Live on the Waterfront at Marina Park, outdoor pools and beaches, Youth Move at Minnesota Park, and playground sites at Westmount, Gron Morgan, and McKellar schools.

Indoor pools remain open during regular hours, with twoonie swims at Churchill and Volunteer Pool from 1–5 pm.

Joce Reyome will perform an acoustic set tonight at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium lobby at 7:30 pm (doors open at 6:45 pm).
