Today, students in Ms. Larsen’s class had the wonderful opportunity to learn about Métis Dot Art! A special thank you to Anishnawbe Mushkiki for hosting this inspiring workshop for our school community. Students learned about the history and cultural significance of Métis beadwork and art traditions before creating their own artwork.🧡

Today, we recognize Every Child Matters Day and wear orange to honour the children who never returned home from residential schools, the survivors, and their families. We reflect on the importance of truth, reconciliation, and ensuring that every child feels valued, respected, and supported. Every child matters, every day. 🧡
