School council has long envisioned enhancing the signage in our front foyer. Thanks to the support and collaboration of School Council, Superior CVI, and Mr. Daniar, the vision has now been realized. 🌟

We extend our sincere appreciation to the staff and students of the Manufacturing Department at Superior CVI for their outstanding craftsmanship, as well as for the time and dedication they invested in this project. We invite you to visit the main foyer to view the new Claude E. Garton signage!🎉

Congratulations to all of our Junior Boys and Girls who participated in the Three Pitch Tournament!
We are so proud of the way our students represented our school. Throughout the tournament, they demonstrated respect, kindness, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while always giving their best effort. Their positive attitudes and determination made us proud both on and off the field.
A special thank you goes to our dedicated coaches who generously give their time to organize practices, support our athletes, and create opportunities for students to participate in a variety of sports throughout the year. Your commitment helps our students grow in confidence, skill, and character.
Well done, everyone! We are grateful to be part of such a supportive and enthusiastic school community. ⚾👏

Throughout the school year, many classes study a variety of artists to learn about different artistic styles, creative techniques, and the powerful messages art can communicate.
Earlier this year, our Grade 4 French Immersion class studied artist Jason Naylor. Jason Naylor is a contemporary artist known for his vibrant colours, bold patterns, and inspiring messages focused on love, kindness, positivity, and acceptance.
After studying his various works of art and learning about his message of love and inclusion, students re-created Naylor’s OPN heart sculpture. The OPN heart symbolizes openness, connection, and the importance of accepting and celebrating others for who they are.
Our students did an incredible job bringing colour, creativity, and meaning to their own unique heart designs!

🌿 Some of our Kindergarten students had an amazing day exploring Hazelwood Lake Conservation Area today! A huge thank you to Ms. Rachel from the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority for teaching us about local wildlife, birds, insects, and habitats while guiding us through such a fun hands-on nature experience. We loved learning bird calls, exploring the forest and lake, and discovering so many amazing creatures along the way! 💚
