Our colleagues joined the celebrations and stand alongside the LGBTQ+ community, friends, and allies from across the region.

Supporting equality, inclusion, and human rights is at the heart of our values, and we are always proud to champion a society where everyone can be themselves and live free from discrimination.

The Higher Command Studies Course had the privilege of hosting H.E. Ross Allen, British Ambassador to Estonia, for a session on the United Kingdom's approach to deterrence and defence. 🇬🇧

Ambassador Allen traced the arc of UK commitment to Baltic security across past, present, and future, situating the United Kingdom's enduring role in the region within the wider strategic picture. His reflections gave HCSC participants a valuable perspective on how national policy translates into sustained regional presence.

As Ambassador Allen concludes his tenure in Tallinn, the Baltic Defence College extends its sincere gratitude for his support over the years. We wish him every success in his future endeavours. 🤝

Today we were delighted to welcome students from Tallinna Nõmme Põhikool 🇬🇧🇪🇪

The students met with our Deputy Head of Mission, Ify Agboola, to learn what an embassy does, how diplomacy works, and to enjoy a guided tour of the building.

A big thank you for the great questions and enthusiasm — the future looks bright! ✨

We were happy to welcome 🇬🇧 MOD Permanent Under Secretary Jeremy Pocklington to Estonia 🇪🇪

During his visit, PUS met with his Estonian counterpart Kaimo Kuusk and visited Ex Spring Storm together with Ambassador Ross Allen, Commander Cabrit and our Defence section.

The programme highlighted the role of the Forward Land Forces with visits to 2 SCOTS and the 4th Light Brigade

The visit also included bilateral discussions with the Estonian MOD and engagement at the Lennart Meri Conference, reinforcing UK - Estonia 🇪🇪🇬🇧 cooperation on defence and security 🤝

Täna on IDAHOBIT - Rahvusvaheline homo-, bi-, inter- ja transfoobia vastane päev.

Just sel päeval, 17. mail 1990. aastal eemaldas Maailma Terviseorganisatsioon homoseksuaalsuse psüühikahäirete nimekirjast. Sellest on möödas 36 aastat – ja kuigi oleme liikunud edasi, vajab LGBT+ inimeste õiguste kaitse endiselt nähtavat ja julget toetust 🌈

Today is IDAHOBIT - an opportunity to reflect on the harm caused by hate and discrimination and recommit to dignity for all.

The UK is committed to promoting and protecting LGBT+ rights and encourages countries to uphold human rights 🌈
We oppose violence, persecution, and exclusion.
