The Norwegian Embassy in Tallinn wishes a warm welcome to our new intern, Selma! She will be working with us for the next five months.

Selma (25) is from Fosnavåg. She holds bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and Media and Communication from Universitetet i Oslo (UiO), and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Media and Communication 👩🏽‍🎓

Alongside her studies, Selma has worked as a research assistant at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), and has experience in event work and social media content creation.

She is looking forward to gaining practical insight into Norway’s engagement with Estonia and contributing to the Embassy’s activities 🇳🇴🇪🇪

The Norwegian Embassy in Tallinn is pleased to welcome our new intern, Sina! She will be working with us for the next six months here in Estonia!

Sina recently completed her bachelor’s degree in International Studies at Universitetet i Oslo // University of Oslo , and is currently taking a gap year before starting her master’s degree. During her bachelor’s degree, she spent an exchange semester in South Africa.

Sina has gained experience with security, cooperation and the Baltics through three years of military service in Panserbataljonen, including serving as part of EFP Lithuania and EUMAM Ukraine.

She looks forward to learning more about the 🇳🇴🇪🇪 relationship and contributing to the Embassy’s work.

We are pleased to announce that today, the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of 🇳🇴Norway, Juliana Baffoe, presented her Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Karis, and conveyed the personal greetings of His Majesty King Harald of Norway.
We warmly welcome Ambassador Juliana Baffoe to 🇪🇪 Estonia and wish her every success in her new position. We look forward to continued close and fruitful cooperation between Estonia and Norway.

Kahel Karula rahvuspargi noorel oli rõõm ja au esindada Eestit rahvusvahelises noore looduskaitsja laagris 🇳🇴 Norras.

Kahel Karula rahvuspargi noorel oli rõõm ja au esindada Eestit rahvusvahelises noore looduskaitsja laagris Norras.

Kokku pääses laagrisse osalema 20 noort. Karulast käisid laagris Hinn Urtson ja Meel Kuks, kaasas oli juhendajana Helen Kivisild.

Mida tehti, nähti ja kogeti saab lugeda kaitsealad.ee uudiste lehelt. EUROPARC Junior Ranger laager toimus 17.–24. juulil Fjordkysten regionaal- ja geopargis.
