🌻 Come and see our transformed community garden🌻

We’re inviting registered carers to join us for a special Garden Open Event and see the incredible transformation for themselves.

📅 Tuesday 8th September
⏰ Drop in anytime between 10am–3pm

Over the past few months, our wonderful carers and volunteers have worked incredibly hard to transform our community garden into a bright, colourful and welcoming space where carers can relax, socialise and enjoy some time out.

From hand-painted garden panels to new plants, fruit and greenery, so much creativity, teamwork and care has gone into bringing the space to life. 💚

We’d love for you to come along, have a look around and enjoy the garden with us!

A new support group starting at Epilepsy Wales, with hope to build a community where people an connect, share experiences, and access local support.

The group will meet on the third Tuesday of each month from 10.30am to 12.30pm at The Eirianfa Centre in Denbigh. First meeting will be on Tuesday 15th September 2026.

📍 Denbigh & Flint Show

Last Thursday, Nia and Gundega had a fantastic day at the Denbigh & Flint Show, spreading the word about NEWCIS and our new Trailblazer Project.

They spoke to 92 people throughout the day, raising awareness of the support available to unpaid carers and sharing information about how the Trailblazer Project can help carers in Denbighshire take steps towards employment, education, training or volunteering.

The project offers free, personalised one-to-one support, helping carers build confidence, develop skills, explore opportunities and work towards their goals in a way that fits around their caring role.

Join us at our new venue! You can take part in a variety of crafts from card making, jewellery, beading, papercraft, pompom making, diamond art, crochet, knitting etc or you can bring your own crafts and ideas to the group.

Refreshments provided. Free onsite parking and there is also an onsite café.
