📝Our Home Education Session is on today so be sure to pop in between 1pm-4pm to meet some like minded families and make the most of our wonderful library space!

We are also lucky enough to have Cornwall Wildlife Trust join us for a Conservation Talk this afternoon from 2pm-4pm so feel free to stay for that, or join us on Thursday afternoon where Cornwall Wildlife Trust will be running a wonderful family craft session 2pm-4pm.

Come on down to Perranporth Community Library between 3pm-4:30pm to have a chat with our local Fire Fighters, learn about fire safety and have a look around their Fire Truck.

We also have some great colouring in and word search sheets available that might keep the younger ones entertained for a little while.

Next week we have a fabulous event with Cornwall Wildlife Trust and on Wednesday 21st October 2pm-4pm.

"Join us for an informative and fascinating talk with Cornwall Wildlife Trusts’ Penhale dune ranger and assistant engagement and enforcement officer exploring the incredible wildlife that calls our dunes home and discover why this special landscape has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and Special Area of Conservation (SAC). We will explore why careful management of the dunes is so important and take a closer look at some of the conservation techniques we use to protect and support this unique habitat. We’ll then be joined by Sue Allen from Cornwall Butterfly Conservation, who will delve deeper into some of the special butterfly species found on the dunes, including the beautiful silver-studded blue and grizzled skipper, which feature on the mural outside the library."
