Nomad Opening Doors We provide safe, secure and sustainable housing to people facing homelessness in Sheffield.

Nomad provides long term accommodation and wrap around support to people over the age of 18 who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. We aim to provide high quality holistic support services and strive to give opportunities, support and motivation to clients, enabling them to achieve their goals and empower them in managing their own lives. Our approach has helped 1000s of people escape homelessness over the past 30 years.

Yesterday, Steve, our CEO attended the annual Homelessness Reception at the House of Lords hosted by Lord Best and Rick Henderson of Homeless Link with Baroness Taylor of MHCLG as key speaker.
It was an opportunity for members of the government to show their appreciation of the voluntary sector and and their work to tackle increasing homelessness.

The event was incredibly well attended with around 100 organisation's from across the country in attendance. These organisation's represent some of the 51,000 people working tirelessly to tackle the ever increasing issue that is homelessness.

Did you know that 1 in 26 children is in temporary accomodation. So a child in every classroom across the country is in temporary accomodation?
