🌞Ecclesfield Gala, Sunday 6th September from 4pm onwards
Bring a blanket or camp chair and enjoy some fabulous brass band classics

The Ecclesfield Gala is taking place on Sunday 6th September and we will be there with our annual Tug of War event!
The competition will take place in the park at 4pm and we need teams - come to our stall on the day to register.
The winning team will receive the Ecclesfield Parish Council trophy

Proposed Willow Crescent Play Trail - Resident Consultation 🌳
The Steel Valley Project have successfully been awarded funding from the Morrisons Foundation to install a small play trail within the green space at Willow Crescent, Chapeltown.
Working in partnership with Ecclesfield Parish Council and Sheffield City Council, they are proposing to install a series of small items of play equipment which will encourage children to enjoy outdoor play, physical activity and exploration.
Before installation begins, they would like to give local residents the opportunity to comment on the proposal play trail.

The North Local Area Committee is pleased to announce the launch of The Great North Fund 2026.

The North LAC has allocated £40,000 to the fund and invites applications from charitable groups of up to £5,000 to support activity in the North LAC area up to the end of March 2027. This year’s funding round begins 10th July and closes on Friday 28th August 2026, with groups being notified of decisions before the end of September 2026.
