Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Gas Limited Company, has demonstrated her commitment to mentoring and empowering young women through her participation in the inaugural edition of ‘The Vantage Forum’, organised by the University of Ghana Medical Laboratory Sciences Students’ Association.
The forum was held under the theme, “Competence and Consequence: Women, Health and National Leadership,” providing a platform for conversations on leadership, professional growth and the role of women in shaping Ghana’s future.
Speaking on the topic ‘Powering a Country: Women at the Command of Ghana’s Critical Infrastructure,’ Ms. Judith shared insights from her leadership experience and encouraged the young women to prepare themselves to deliver when opportunities come their way, urging them to embrace accountability and demonstrate competence, commitment and excellence in whichever field they find themselves.
Ms. Judith also encouraged the participants to ‘live pure’, guided by integrity, discipline and strong moral values, further challenging them to pursue their aspirations with courage and purpose, reminding them that personal growth and meaningful impact begin with the choices they make each day.
The forum brought together distinguished speakers, including Dr. Bernice Makafui Brempong, Presidential Staffer in charge of Health and Pharmaceuticals at the Office of the President; Dr. Fiona Braka, Country Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Ghana; Hon. Fatimatu Abubakar, former Minister for Information; and Ms. Nana Aba Anamoah, Media personality and Founder of Women of Valour.
The speakers encouraged the young women to recognise opportunities, develop their potential, remain grounded in strong values as well as use their knowledge and skills to make a meaningful difference in society.
