CRS Inspection and Speed Trial on newly executed Bina Kanjia double line section

Kudos to Rail Vikas Nigam Limited team for milestone achievement of doubling of Bina - Kanjia section on Bhopal Division of West Central Railway. CRS inspection & speed trial 120Kmph successfully held on 24.12.2021. Doubling of the most challenging section of Bina- Mahadev kheri - Semarkhedi - Kanjia (19.87 kms) commissioned on 24.12.2021 with *100 kmph in Kanjia-Semarkhedi- Mahadev kheri UP line and at 90 kmph in Bina- Mahadev kheri DN line*. A big, proud moment for the Rail Vikas Nigam Limited team as Brahmaputra Mail commences maiden run on electric traction from Kamakhya. The commissioning of Raninagar Jalpaiguri - Guwahati RE project is a notable achievement by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited The project for electrification of 375RKM (route kilometers) from Raninagar Jalpaiguri to New Bongaigaon and then from New Bongaigaon to Guwahati was entrusted with Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL). The entire 375RKM of RE by RVNL has been commissioned in the calendar year 2021 in post-Covid wave I and wave II. A total of 707 track kilometers was commissioned by RVNL in a single year in this project which includes very big yards of New Bongaigaon and Guwahati. Apart from this, RVNL also completed 7 Traction Substations at New Maynaguri, Pundibari, Gosaigaon, New Bogaigaon, Sarbhog, Nalbari and Kamakhya falling on the route from Raninagar Jalpaiguri to New Bongaigaon &New Bongaigaon to Guwahati sections. These substations will feed electricity to the overhead lines of this route. This massive project also included the construction of 24 switching posts to control and segregate the power supply, 7depots and 7 Tower Car Sheds to maintain the overhead lines and power supply installations, and 117 quarters to house the staff deployed for maintenance of these setups. This will be a game-changer in the dynamics of rail transport with more efficient and cost-saving transport networks connecting the North East region and fulfilling the IR vision for an environment-friendly and green transportation system. First MEMU rolling out after maintenance work at Kanpur shed

Maintenance work of MEMU rakes commenced at the new MEMU Shed at Kanpur on March 6 in presence of GM/ NCR. The Shed was built and commissioned by #RVNL on 19.2.21. This is the first MEMU shed built for North Central Railway. With its commissioning maintenance work for MEMU rakes will be faster. Narendra Modi dedicated the Electrification of Villupuram-Mayiladuthurai - Thanjavur and Mayiladuthurai - Thiruvarur lines of Southern Railway to the Nation and also flagged off a freight train on electric traction from Thanjavur Railway Station through Tele-video from Chennai. Speed trial on Kalaikunda-Jhargram section

CRS inspection of Kalaikunda-Jhargram on Howrah Mumbai Route of SE Rly in West Bengal was completed on 9.2.21 followed by speed trial of 120 kmph without any oms Peak with 0.15g threshold value. CRS praised the standard of construction of the bridge, track and level crossing by #RVNL. He expressed satisfaction at the adopting of tamping of track with design mode.
