Japan imported footballs worth approximately JPY 766.8 million from Pakistan in 2025.

Pakistan accounted for more than 14% of Japan’s football imports, highlighting an established trade relationship in the sports goods sector.



2025年、日本はパキスタンから約7億6,680万円相当のサッカーボールを輸入しました。

パキスタンは日本のサッカーボール輸入額の14％以上を占めており、スポーツ用品分野における両国間の確立された貿易関係を示しています。

2026年6月11日、パキスタンのアブドゥル・ハミード大使は、Temple University Japan Campus の学生を対象に特別講義を行いました。

大使は、パキスタンと日本の関係や世界情勢の最新動向について見解を共有しました。

また、質疑応答を含む双方向型のセッションでは、現代の国際問題や外交について活発な議論が行われ、学生たちは理解を深める貴重な機会を得ました。

Mr. Abdul Hameed, Ambassador of Pakistan to Japan, hosted a dinner for the Board Members of the Japan–Pakistan Business Cooperation Committee (JPBCC), led by its newly appointed Chairman, Mr. Masayoshi Fujimoto.

The evening provided an opportunity to engage with representatives of leading Japanese companies and institutions, exchange views on strengthening business confidence and commercial partnerships, and reaffirm the importance of long-term economic cooperation between Pakistan and Japan.

The Ambassador appreciated the continued contribution of Japanese companies operating in Pakistan and welcomed JPBCC’s efforts to further strengthen economic ties between the two countries under its new leadership.



駐日パキスタン大使のアブドゥル・ハミード大使は、このたび新たに就任した日本・パキスタン経済委員会（JPBCC）の藤本昌義委員長をはじめとする委員会の理事・役員の皆様を招き、夕食会を開催しました。

Mr. Abdul Hameed, Ambassador of Pakistan to Japan, welcomed Mr. Masayoshi Fujimoto, the newly appointed Chairman of the Japan–Pakistan Business Cooperation Committee (JPBCC), at the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of Pakistan and Japan’s business communities to strengthening commercial ties and expanding practical cooperation between companies of both countries.

The Ambassador congratulated Mr. Fujimoto on his appointment and expressed appreciation for JPBCC’s longstanding contribution to Pakistan–Japan economic relations.

We extend our warmest congratulations to the Pakistan U-18 Men's Hockey Team for securing the Bronze Medal at the U-18 Asia Cup 2026 in Kakamigahara, Japan. In a thrilling third-place match, our young Green Shirts delivered a brilliant performance to defeat Malaysia 3-0.
