𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏 𝐎𝐅 𝟐: 𝐏𝐑𝐂-𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐇𝐘𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐅 𝐍𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 𝐈𝐍 𝐁𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐎 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘

The Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing (PRB Nursing), represented by Honorable Josefina A. Tuazon and Honorable Merle L. Salvani, together with representatives from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)—Ms. Ana Biglete (CHED-CO), Dr. Elizabeth H. Bautista, and Dr. Godfrey G. Mendoza (CHED-CAR)—with the assistance of PRC-CAR representative Geneveive F. Gumiyao—conducted a joint physical inspection and monitoring of nursing facilities and programs at the University of the Cordilleras (UC), Baguio City. The activity was likewise joined virtually by Technical Panel members/evaluators Dr. Evalyn Abalos and Dr. Daisy Palompon.

The activity was conducted pursuant to Republic Act No. 9173, or the “Philippine Nursing Act of 2002,” particularly Article III, Section 9(d), which mandates the Board to ensure the quality of nursing education by examining the prescribed facilities of universities and colleges offering nursing programs and ensuring that established standards of nursing education are properly complied with and maintained. The inspection also supports the Board’s written recommendations to CHED concerning the opening and closing of colleges of nursing and nursing education programs.

The inspection was welcomed by University of the Cordilleras officials led by Dr. Nancy M. Flores, University President, together with Dr. Judith Odanee G. Magwilang, Dr. Nova C. Baldo, Dr. Ariel Nimo B. Pumecha, Dr. Rhodora Ngolob, Judith A. Layao, and Ms. Beverly B. Chapicap. Through this collaborative initiative, the PRC and CHED continue to strengthen quality assurance in nursing education and ensure that nursing institutions provide appropriate facilities and learning environments that support the development of competent and qualified future nursing professionals.

The Professional Regulation Commission-Cordillera Administrative Region (PRC-CAR), through the Board of Mechanical Engineering (BME), joins the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers-Benguet Southwest Chapter (PSME-BSW) in an important orientation on the Issuance of Certificate of Compliance (COC) for Mechanical Engineering Works, Projects, Plants, and Establishments, held on September 28, 2026, at Smith Hall, Philex Mining Corporation.

The activity brings together Mechanical Engineers, Professional Mechanical Engineers, LGU representatives, private-sector representatives, and decision-makers to promote a clearer understanding of COC requirements, processes, and compliance in mechanical engineering practice.

The event also provides an opportunity for the Board of Mechanical Engineering to visit the Philex Mining Corporation–Padcal Mine Site and gain firsthand familiarity with its mechanical engineering facilities and operations.

September 29, 2026 — The Professional Mechanical Engineers Oral Examination/Technical Evaluation (PME-OETE) officially commenced today in Baguio City, marking Day 1 of the three-day evaluation.

The activity brings together 65 examinees who are undergoing the oral examination and technical evaluation as part of the professional assessment process.

September 2026 Geodetic Engineers Computer-Based Licensure Examination Results Released in Two (2) Working Days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 842 out of 1,482 passed the Geodetic Engineers Computer-Based Licensure Examination given by the Board of Geodetic Engineering in N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Puerto Princesa, Palawan this September 2026.

The members of the Board of Geodetic Engineering who gave the licensure examination are Engr. Epifanio D. Lopez, Chairman; Engr. Concordio D. Zuñiga and Engr. Randolf S. Vicente, Members.

The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

Starting November 9, 2026, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please visit the official PRC website (www.prc.gov.ph) and follow the instructions for registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: 1) Screenshot of system-generated Registration Form; 2) valid government-issued ID. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

PRC Observes “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day”

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 136 of the Office of the President, reiterating Proclamation No.60 (s. 1992), declaring the last week of September of every year as “Family Week”, and Proclamation No. 326 (s. 2012), declaring every fourth Monday of September of every year as “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the temporary suspension of operations in all PRC Offices and Offsite Service Centers nationwide, effective 1:00 P.M. on September 28, 2026 (Monday).

As we celebrate, may every Filipino family continue to be a source of strength and inspiration in building a caring, resilient, and united nation.

Affected appointments will be accommodated upon resumption of operations on September 29, 2026 (Tuesday).

FACE-TO-FACE OATHTAKING OF NURSES

The face-to-face mass oathtaking of the new Nurses will be held on 12 and 13 October
2026 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

All successful examinees interested in attending the face-to-face mass oathtaking shall register not later than 12:00 NN of the day prior to the date of the oathtaking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance.

Inductees may register and confirm their attendance in the regions where they took their licensure examination and intend to register as professionals. Those who cannot attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oathtaking may attend the online oathtaking or request for a special oathtaking. Online oathtaking announcements will be posted once the schedule is confirmed.

Inductees shall come in WHITE GALA UNIFORM (below the knee) and CAP for female; WHITE CLINICAL UNIFORM for male.

Additionally, all inductees must print and bring their Oath Form which includes their generated QR code. This form will be submitted during the oathtaking and is necessary to be officially tagged as "attended".

Please note that registration on LERIS does not guarantee a reserved slot for the Oathtaking until a ticket is secured.

Seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

After the oathtaking, inductees shall proceed with their Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.

Online Oathtaking of the New Chemists and Chemical Technicians

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the new Chemists and Chemical Technicians that the conduct of the online mass oathtaking will be on September 29, 2026, at 1:00 P.M., which will be spearheaded by PRC-Legaspi via Microsoft Teams.

Inductees shall wear formal or business attire and use a white backdrop (white physical or virtual background) throughout the oathtaking ceremony.
