On 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, agencies and organizations were invited to the 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵: 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝘂𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗼𝗳𝗳 at the Baguio Country Club, Baguio City, highlighting how Google Cloud solutions—now accessible through the PS‑DBM eMarketplace—can enhance collaboration, strengthen cybersecurity, and streamline public procurement.

On 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, agencies and organizations gathered at the Baguio Country Club, Baguio City for the 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵: 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝘂𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗼𝗳𝗳. The event showcased how 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀—now accessible through the 𝗣𝗦‑𝗗𝗕𝗠 𝗲𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲—can enhance collaboration, cybersecurity, and streamline public procurement.

The engagement underscored the government’s commitment to digital transformation. 𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗧-𝗖𝗔𝗥 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗼 delivered the message of support as the government representative and also joined the product launch and commitment oath for digital transformation together with 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗘𝗢 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘇𝗮 and 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝗯𝗯𝘆 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗻. The DICT Cordillera Administrative Region, through DICT Benguet, successfully launched Day 1 of the eLGU Admin Training and System Set-Up for the Municipal Government of Bakun, Benguet, on August 3, 2026!

The activity officially opened with a welcoming message from Municipal Mayor Fausto T. Labinio, delivered through the Mayor's Secretary Fauline L. Busil-ac, followed by inspiring messages of support from DICT Benguet Provincial Officer Engr. Alicia Piacos, along with LGOO Johnny Mauting and MLGOO Mary Ann Griba from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Participants gained a comprehensive overview of the eLGU System, configured general settings, and engaged in hands-on training on the eCedula Module—including live sample application processing and practical system simulations.

This collaborative effort underscores the shared commitment of DICT, DILG, and local leaders to bring fast, efficient, and accessible digital services to the citizens of Bakun.

The DICT Cordillera Administrative Region, through DICT Apayao, successfully conducted the two-day eLGU Version 2 Admin Training and System Set-Up for the Municipal Government of Pudtol, Apayao, from August 3 to 4, 2026!

The activity opened with inspiring messages of support from LGOO VI Norman D. Venus and DICT Apayao Provincial Officer Ms. Mona Lisa V. Vizcarra, setting a clear direction for Pudtol's digital transformation journey.

Over the course of the program, participants engaged in intensive technical sessions covering an overview of the eLGU System, system configurations, and backend parameters. Day 1 focused on the structure and workflow of the eCedula module, reinforced through interactive, hands-on simulations. Day 2 expanded to the Local Civil Registry (LCR) and Business Permit and Licensing System (BPLS) modules, diving into process flows, system settings, and practical exercises to strengthen their operational readiness.

This collaborative initiative brings LGU Pudtol closer to delivering faster, modernized, and transparent online services to its constituents through the eLGU System and eGovPH Super App.

In his opening message, 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼 𝗦. 𝗗𝗮𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻 underscored the importance of embracing innovation and continuous learning while remaining guided by the Cordilleran values of 𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨 and 𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯. He emphasized that Artificial Intelligence should be utilized responsibly and ethically to improve lives, strengthen communities, and deliver more responsive, inclusive, and citizen-centered public service.

The learning sessions commenced with the 𝗔𝗜-𝗠𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗧-𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 (𝗜𝗟𝗖𝗗𝗕) demonstrated the practical applications of 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗟𝗠 in supporting ILCDB programs and initiatives, encouraging participants — particularly DICT personnel — to maximize AI‑enabled tools for productivity, collaboration, and knowledge management.

The successful conduct of the 𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝗔𝗜 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 highlights the strong collaboration among 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 in advancing AI literacy and accelerating digital transformation in the Cordillera Region. Through initiatives such as this, DICT‑CAR remains steadfast in promoting responsible AI adoption, strengthening digital competencies, and empowering Filipinos with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in an increasingly AI‑enabled future.
