The Department of Transportation – CAR informs the public that the individual identified as FANCY YOHOY LUNAG is not affiliated, connected, or authorized to transact or represent DOTr-CAR, LTO- CAR and LTFRB-CAR in any capacity.

Reports have been received that this individual is allegedly engaging in deceptive activities and taking advantage of others for personal gain.

The public is strongly urged to exercise extreme caution and to avoid any transactions or dealings with this person, especially those claiming association with the Department.

For your safety, please ensure that all transactions with DOTr-CAR are conducted through official channels and with duly authorized personnel only.

If you have encountered or have any information related to this individual’s activities, please report immediately to DOTr-CAR located at 3K Building, Swamp, Betag, La Trinidad, Benguet to prevent further incidents.

THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT CLICK THE LINK.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) does NOT send violation notices through random or suspicious website links.

DO NOT click the link
DO NOT enter personal information
DO NOT make any payment
Verify directly through the official LTO LTMS portal

Report the message to LTO or your mobile network provider.

2026 FIRST FLAG CEREMONY | Employees of the Department of Transportation Cordillera Administrative Region, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, and the Land Transportation Office District Offices simultaneously started an optimistic 2026 during the first flag ceremony of the year.

In his message, Regional Director PBGen. Glenn G. Dumlao (Ret.) encouraged employees to begin the year with renewed dedication and to give their best in performing their duties. He emphasized the importance of facing challenges with courage while taking calculated risks, and viewing mistakes as part of the learning process that contributes to personal growth and authenticity. RD Dumlao also reminded everyone not to fear making mistakes.

Meanwhile, Ms. Jennilyn L. Avelino, Chief of the Administrative and Finance Division, reminded employees to uphold excellence, commitment, and confidence as they carry out their responsibilities throughout the year.

Birthday celebrators for January were also announced during the ceremony.

Please be informed that we are currently experiencing internet connectivity issues through our Internet Service Provider MPLS service, affecting selected Land Transportation Office (LTO) District Offices nationwide.

We wish to clarify that the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) itself is not affected. However, due to the internet disruption, there will be temporary delays in transaction processing at the impacted district offices.

Our technical team is actively coordinating with the Internet Service Provider to restore the internet connection at the earliest possible time, which will resolve the processing delays.

Nag-isyu ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) ng Show Cause Order (SCO) laban sa isang kilalang social media personality, na driver at rehistradong may-ari ng Ford Expedition, matapos kumalat sa social media ang isang video na nagpapakita ng ilang paglabag sa batas-trapiko.

Sa naturang viral na video, makikitang minamaneho ng vlogger ang sasakyan gamit ang pekeng plaka, hindi nakasuot ang seatbelt at gumagamit ng mobile phone habang nagmamaneho. Ang mga paglabag na ito ay itinuturing na distracted driving at nagsapanganib sa ibang motorista.

Kaugnay nito, inatasan ni LTO chief Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao ang nabanggit na vlogger na dumalo sa isasagawang hearing sa LTO - Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) sa East Avenue, Quezon City.

Kailangan niyang magsumite ng verified comment/explanation upang ipaliwanag kung bakit hindi siya dapat patawan ng mga kasong paglabag sa Failure to Attach Authorized Motor Vehicle License Plate, Mandatory Use of Seatbelt, Distracted Driving, Reckless Driving at Improper Person to Operate a Motor Vehicle.

Inilagay din sa preventive suspension ang driver's license ng vlogger sa loob ng 90 araw at naka-alarma ang Ford Expedition na kinakailangan niyang dalhin sa Motor Vehicle Inspection Facility sa LTO Compound para sa kumpletong roadworthiness inspection.

Nagbabala si Asec. Lacanilao sa vlogger na kapag nabigong dumalo o magsumite ng komento, ito ay ituturing na pagbalewala sa kanyang karapatang maipagtanggol ang sarili, at magpapatuloy ang LTO sa pagresolba ng kaso batay sa mga dokumentong mayroon ang ahensya.

PLATE DISTRIBUTION | “Waras Plaka ng Motorsiklo” is ongoing today, Dec. 3, 2025, at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center through the initiatives of Department of Transportation-CAR and Baguio City Police Office-Traffic Enforcement Unit as part of the OPLAN D.R.I.V.E.

Motorcycle plates registered in CAR from 2017 and earlier with MV File Numbers beginning in 14 are being released, along with plates for motorcycles originally registered in other regions but whose most recent transactions were completed in CAR.

Replacement plates with plate numbers ending in 0, 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, and 9 for vehicles registered at LTO Baguio in 2014 and 2015 are also being distributed.

Distribution will continue until 5:00 PM today.
