The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) officially kicks off CRVS Academy Batch 14, bringing together Local Civil Registrars and their personnel to strengthen knowledge, enhance competencies, and promote excellence in Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS).

Through this capacity-building initiative, participants continue to build the skills needed to deliver accurate, efficient, and people-centered civil registration services for every Filipino.

📊 LOOK | 2023 Poverty Incidence among Families

In 2023, the national poverty incidence among families was recorded at 10.9%, equivalent to 2.99 million poor families whose incomes were below the poverty threshold.

Meanwhile, the poverty incidence among the population was estimated at 15.5%, translating or around 17.54 million Filipinos whose incomes were insufficient to meet their basic food and non-food needs.
