27 AUGUST 2026 | OPERATIONAL READINESS, SITE INSPECTION AND TROOP EVALUATION (ORSITE) | SAMPALOC FIRE STATION
IN PHOTOS: Under the leadership of FCSUPT RENATO B CAPUZ, DSC, Regional Director, BFP Region 4A, the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal (OPFM) Quezon, headed by FSUPT AURELIO E ZALUN, DSC, Officer-in-Charge, conducted an Operational Readiness, Site Inspection and Troop Evaluation (ORSITE) at the Sampaloc Fire Station, headed by SFO4 Gideon T Dayo.
The activity was undertaken to assess the stationโs operational preparedness, personnel readiness, and available resources, particularly in view of the maintained heightened alert status (Code Blue) in response to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), further enhanced by the presence of tropical cyclone systems.
Joining the inspection team were FSUPT EDWIN M CARANTO, DSC, Deputy Provincial Fire Marshal; FCINSP JONATHAN A MALUNDAS; FSINSP ROMANO C OLVIGA, Chief, Administrative Branch; FSINSP ROUFEL M BABIERA, Chief, Fire Prevention Branch; and other OPFM Quezon staff.
Through regular inspections and readiness assessments, the BFP reinforces its operational capabilities and ensures that personnel, equipment, and resources remain prepared for a swift, coordinated, and effective response to emergencies, disasters, and weather-related incidents.
