04 MAY 2026 | GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF THE NEW TIAONG FIRE STATION

In a continued effort to enhance public safety services, BFP Quezon Provincial Fire Marshal, FSSUPT ROY D. QUISTO, DSC, attended the Ceremonial Groundbreaking of the new Tiaong Fire Station on May 4, 2026, held at the Tiaong Municipal Compound.

The activity was also graced by Hon. Richard Thomas F. Joson, Assistant Secretary for Public Safety of the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Hon. Vincent Arjay M. Mea, Municipal Mayor of Tiaong, FCINSP CHARLIE N. BELTRAN, Municipal Fire Marshal, and other officials from the Local Government of Tiaong.

This initiative underscores the shared vision of building a safer community through strengthened infrastructure, enabling the Bureau of Fire Protection to deliver more responsive and effective emergency services to the people.

Sa patuloy na nararanasang matinding init na umaabot sa 36–40°C, muling nagpapaalala ang Bureau of Fire Protection CALABARZON sa publiko na magdoble-ingat upang maiwasan ang mga insidente ng sunog. Ang tuyong kapaligiran at sobrang taas na temperatura ay maaaring mabilis na pagmulan ng sakuna kung hindi magiging mapanuri at maingat sa paggamit ng kuryente at iba pang pinagmumulan ng apoy.

Ilan sa mga simpleng paalala upang maiwasan ang sunog ay ang mga sumusunod:
• Iwasan ang overloading ng mga saksakan
• Huwag iwanang nakabukas ang nilulutong pagkain
• Iwasan ang pagsisindi ng basura o tuyong damo sa labas
• Agad bunutin ang mga overheat na charger at appliances

Patuloy ang paalala na maging alerto at responsable sa bawat gawaing maaaring magdulot ng panganib sa tahanan at komunidad.

In honor of the courage and sacrifice of our firefighters, the Bureau of Fire Protection, in partnership with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), is now accepting applications for the 𝗕𝗙𝗣 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

This program is dedicated to supporting the 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 and the 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗱 in the line of duty. Qualified scholars will receive financial support, including tuition and other authorized school fees, helping them pursue their academic goals with less burden.
