28 AUGUST 2026 | CY 2026 NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS COCONUT TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY

IN PHOTOS: Under the leadership of FCSUPT RENATO B CAPUZ, DSC, Regional Director, BFP Region 4A, and under the supervision of FSUPT AURELIO E ZALUN, DSC, Officer-in-Charge, BFP Quezon Province actively participated in the CY 2026 Nationwide Simultaneous Coconut Tree Planting Activity spearheaded by the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA).

The activity was conducted at Brgy. Masalukot IV Candelaria, Quezon, in support of the Massive Coconut Planting Program (MCPP) and in celebration of the 40th National Coconut Week.

Through this initiative, the BFP joins hands with partner agencies and communities in promoting environmental sustainability, climate resilience, agricultural development, and active community participation. Beyond planting trees, the activity reflects a shared commitment to nurturing a greener, more resilient, and sustainable future for generations to come.

27 AUGUST 2026 | OPERATIONAL READINESS, SITE INSPECTION AND TROOP EVALUATION (ORSITE) | SAMPALOC FIRE STATION

IN PHOTOS: Under the leadership of FCSUPT RENATO B CAPUZ, DSC, Regional Director, BFP Region 4A, the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal (OPFM) Quezon, headed by FSUPT AURELIO E ZALUN, DSC, Officer-in-Charge, conducted an Operational Readiness, Site Inspection and Troop Evaluation (ORSITE) at the Sampaloc Fire Station, headed by SFO4 Gideon T Dayo.

The activity was undertaken to assess the station’s operational preparedness, personnel readiness, and available resources, particularly in view of the maintained heightened alert status (Code Blue) in response to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), further enhanced by the presence of tropical cyclone systems.

26 AUGUST 2026 | TURNOVER CEREMONY OF THE BRAND-NEW FIRETRUCK FOR INFANTA FIRE STATION

IN PHOTOS: BFP Region 4A Regional Director FCSUPT RENATO B CAPUZ, DSC, represented by FSUPT AURELIO E ZALUN, DSC, Officer-in-Charge, OPFM Quezon, graced the Ceremonial Turnover of the brand-new firetruck for Infanta Fire Station, together with HON. LORD ARNEL “L.A.” RUANTO, Municipal Mayor of Infanta, Quezon, and FINSP LOUIE A CALZADO, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal.

Also present at the momentous activity were FSUPT EDWIN M CARANTO, DSC, Deputy Provincial Fire Marshal; FCINSP JONATHAN A MALUNDAS; FSINSP ROUFEL M BABIERA, Chief, Fire Prevention Branch; FSINSP ROMANO C OLVIGA, Chief, Administrative Branch; OPFM Quezon staff; and personnel of the Infanta Fire Station.

The turnover of this brand-new firetruck marks a significant milestone in strengthening the firefighting and emergency response capabilities of Infanta Fire Station. This additional equipment will enable BFP personnel to respond more swiftly and effectively to fire incidents and other emergencies, further enhancing their capacity to protect lives and property within the community.

With this strengthened partnership and enhanced operational capability, the BFP Quezon Provincial Office remains committed to delivering prompt, reliable, and effective fire and emergency services to the people of Infanta.

Agdangan, Quezon - Mabilis na tumugon ang mga tauhan ng BFP mula sa Agdangan Fire Station matapos makatanggap ng ulat hinggil sa isang vehicular accident na naganap sa Barangay Binagbag, Agdangan, Quezon noong ika-26 ng Agosto, 2026.

Agad na nagtungo sa lugar ang emergency response team upang magbigay ng paunang tulong-medikal sa mga indibidwal na natagpuan sa lugar ng insidente. Ligtas na naisugod ang mga biktima sa pinakamalapit na gamutan para sa karagdagang lunas. Patuloy pa ring inaalam ng mga awtoridad ang eksaktong sanhi ng insidente at ang kabuuang halaga ng pinsala sa mga ari-arian.

Ipinapaalala ng BFP CALABARZON, sa pangunguna ng ating Direktor ng Rehiyon, FCSUPT RENATO B CAPUZ, DSC, na maging mas maingat sa kalsada at i-check ang kondisyon ng mga sasakyan bago magtungo sa ating mga pupuntahan.
