Effective service delivery and Good Governance measures
In compliance with the instructions of the Provincial Government, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Mazhar Ali Shah, Additional Secretary (Security), Home & Tribal Affairs Department, conducted a surprise visit to the following offices:
1. Probation & Parole Office, Kohat
2. Office of the District Public Prosecutor, Kohat
3. District Jail, Kohat
4. Joint Check Post, Kohat

Necessary instructions were issued on the spot to improve service delivery and facilitation to the public in light of the vision of the present Government.

*Good Governance measures*
The Secretary, Health department visited Police Services Hospital in connection with Establishment of TeleMedicine for Prison in-mates through hub-spoke model . On the occassion Addnl Secretary Home dept, MS Police Services Hospital and Deputy Secretary Health department were present. The Secretary Health ensured cooperation for implementation of the GGRM interventions whereby cost effective and efficiency driven solutions would be used to provide specialist services to in-mates through an online interface using latest tools and medical equipments.

Under the Good Governance Roadmap, the Additional Secretary Home & Tribal Affairs Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa along with the DIG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Prisons Department, Deputy Secretary Health Department, KP, and Medical Superintendent, Police Services Hospital, visited the Police Services Hospital, Peshawar, to identify a suitable site for the establishment of a Telemedicine Hub.
The proposed hub will facilitate the provision of specialised medical services to prisoners in an efficient, timely, and secure manner.

Tariq Saeed Marwat Reaffirms Solidarity with the People of Kashmir on Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir, Calls for Resolution of the Kashmir Dispute in Accordance with UN Resolutions

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Tariq Saeed Marwat, in his special message on Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir, said that 5 August 2019 remains a dark day in the history of South Asia, when India unilaterally revoked the special constitutional status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in violation of international law, United Nations Security Council resolutions, and the fundamental rights of the Kashmiri people. He said the Pakistani nation has neither forgotten this unlawful act nor will it ever allow it to be forgotten.

Tariq Saeed Marwat said that the Kashmir dispute must be resolved in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council. He urged the international community, particularly the United Nations, to fulfil its responsibilities by playing an effective role in ensuring the Kashmiri people's internationally recognised right to self-determination.

He said that despite the challenges facing Pakistan, the entire nation remains united on issues of national interest, sovereignty, and the Kashmir cause. He added that recent developments have demonstrated that, notwithstanding internal differences, the people of Pakistan stand as one in safeguarding the country's sovereignty, defence, and national interests.

The Special Assistant stated that Pakistan would never abandon its Kashmiri brothers and sisters. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the brave people of the province continue to stand firmly with the people of Kashmir. He reaffirmed that, just as Pakistan has supported the Kashmiri people in the past, it will continue to extend unwavering political, diplomatic, and moral support at every level.

Tariq Saeed Marwat said that the Kashmiri people's struggle for freedom is based on justice and truth, and expressed confidence that their sacrifices would ultimately bear fruit. He reiterated Pakistan's unwavering commitment to supporting the legitimate right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people at every national and international forum.

Concluding his message, he prayed that Almighty Allah bless Pakistan with lasting peace, stability, and prosperity, and grant the people of Kashmir the blessing of freedom at the earliest.

Home and Tribal Affairs Department Inaugurates Complaint Cell (1992)

Timely Redressal of Public Complaints, Transparent Governance and Efficient Service Delivery Are the Provincial Government's Top Priorities, Says Tariq Saeed Marwat

PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Tariq Saeed Marwat, as the chief guest, formally inaugurated the Complaint Cell (1992) established by the Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officers and officials of the Home and Tribal Affairs Department. On the occasion, Deputy Director Home and Tribal Affairs, Rafaqat Khan, gave a detailed presentation to the Special Assistant on the establishment, operational mechanism, scope and complaint management system of the Complaint Cell.

The Special Assistant was informed that the Home and Tribal Affairs Department has formally notified the establishment of the Complaint Cell. Through the new facility, complaints, suggestions and public grievances relating to the Home and Tribal Affairs Department and its attached institutions can be submitted through Complaint Helpline 1992 and Telephone No. 091-9214941. Complaints may also be lodged through email, written applications and other officially approved communication channels.

The briefing further highlighted that every complaint received will be properly documented, while the identity of complainants will remain strictly confidential. All complaints will be forwarded to the relevant authorities for prompt action, and a comprehensive monitoring and follow-up mechanism has been established to ensure timely resolution and effective public service delivery.

It was further informed that Director (IT) Muhammad Bashir has been appointed as the overall In-charge of the Complaint Cell. He will oversee its operations, monitor the complaint resolution process and ensure the preparation of periodic performance reports.

Addressing the ceremony, Tariq Saeed Marwat said that, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, the timely resolution of public complaints, transparent governance, accountability and efficient service delivery are among the provincial government's foremost priorities. He said the establishment of Complaint Cell (1992) will provide citizens with an effective and reliable platform to register their complaints and seek timely redress, thereby further strengthening public confidence in government institutions.

The Special Assistant directed the concerned authorities to ensure that all complaints are processed and resolved within the prescribed timeframe. He stressed the importance of maintaining an effective monitoring and follow-up mechanism and called upon all relevant officers to discharge their responsibilities with honesty, professionalism and dedication to provide prompt and quality relief to the public.
