🌍✨ Tonga at the BPA Fellowship – Hawaii 2026 ✨🌍

Last week, Tonga proudly joined the Blue Planet Alliance Fellowship Cohort VI in Honolulu, Hawaii, alongside other island nations committed to achieving 100% renewable energy.

Representing Tonga were:

Col. (Ret’d) Siamelie Latu – CEO, Tonga Electricity Commission
Nikolasi Fonua – Chief Technical Officer, Tonga Power Limited
Tonu Siamomua - Education Coordinator from PCRIC

The Fellowship provided a platform to share experiences, learn from Hawaii’s renewable energy journey, and strengthen Tonga’s roadmap under the Tonga Energy Roadmap (TERM+), NDC 3.0, and JNAP II.

💡 This milestone reinforces Tonga’s commitment to a sustainable, resilient energy future for our people and generations to come.
