From all of us at the New Mexico Museum of Space History, thank you to the Alamogordo Fire Department, every climber, volunteer, family member, and community supporter who joined us for this year’s 9/11 Climb the Cube Memorial Stair Climb.
Together, we took each step in remembrance of the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice, all those who lost their lives at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard United Flight 93, and every first responder who served with courage at all three sites. We also honor the dedicated K-9 teams and their handlers, whose service in the days and weeks that followed brought vital support, comfort, and hope amid the aftermath.
During this 25th Year of Remembrance, your presence filled The Cube with reflection, unity, gratitude, and respect. Whether you completed one floor, one circuit, or the full challenge, every step carried meaning.
Thank you for helping our community honor their legacy. We will NEVER FORGET.
