The work of this single-bid project includes the reconstruction of a substantial area of walkways adjacent to the University Union and between Academic A and Academic B. The work includes site restoration, landscaping and tree planting, as well as the replacement of an underground water line, and storm and sanitary utility improvements. New seating and miscellaneous site furnishings are also included as part of the project.

This advertisement seeks to prequalify prospective contractors to bid the subject project in accordance with the New York State Infrastructure Investment Act. The forthcoming project involves the rehabilitation of the exterior building facade, roof repairs and restoration, and other improvements to the College of Optometry building, an eighteen-story, 300,000 GSF structure constructed in 1912 in New York City. Work includes masonry repair and restoration, parapet repairs, cleaning and waterproofing of facade surfaces, restoration of terracotta cornices, repair and recovery of an existing built-up roofing system totaling 11,200 SF, and the gut renovation of a ground-floor space for conversion into a bicycle storage room.

Contractors must register on the Fund's website to receive the RFQ. Only firms invited to bid following the Fund's review of qualification packages will be eligible to submit a bid.

On August 7th, staff from the Fund and the SUNY Office for Capital Facilities spent time at SUNY Oneonta, touring campus facilities and meeting with the campus Facilities Management team. The group walked through a variety of spaces, including the Welcome Center, Hunt Union, Fitzelle Hall, Schumacher Hall, Sherman Hall, Milne Library, Physical Science, Alumni Hall, the air-cooled chiller at Perna Science, and the Hodgdon Instructional Resource Center. Participants also got a peek at the active renovation project at Netzer Hall.

Thanks to everyone at SUNY Oneonta for hosting us! It's great to see these spaces in person and hear from the key campus staff who keep the spaces (and the students) warm, safe, and dry.

The work of this single-bid project includes a partial renovation (63,509 GSF) of Tuttle North as a permanent surge for specific athletic programs, which will enable future renovations in Tuttle South. This project will add a new multipurpose turf field, renovate two existing gyms, and add new locker rooms and associated restrooms in Tuttle North. Updates to the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems in the renovated areas are also included. Hazardous materials abatement is included in the work.
