PSSNY is proud to see bipartisan attention focused on the mental health and well-being of our pharmacy workforce. Thank you, Congressman Paul Tonko, for bringing awareness to this important issue and recognizing the need to support those who care for our communities every day. 💜

A bipartisan resolution from Rep. Paul Tonko would create a day to focus on su***de awareness and mental health support for pharmacy workers. The resolution is meant to improve access to mental health services for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, and says su***de rates among pharmacists are 20 per 100,000 compared with 12 per 100,000 in the general population.
