The lake at Lawson Lake County Park is temporarily closed due to a harmful algae bloom (HAB).

The park remains open, but all water-related activities, including swimming and boating, are prohibited until further notice.

We will provide an update once the lake has been cleared for use.

We have received a notification from the Town of Colonie that an emergency sanitary sewer main repair will take place today (9/29/26), at 176 Osborne Rd. Due to equipment needed and road size they will be closing Albany County Route 154 (Osborne Road) from Stonegate Ct (180 Osborne Rd) to White Rock Cr (168 Osborne Rd) for the duration of the repair to all traffic.
