We are proud to welcome Jack B. McGuire Author of Killing the Kingfish: The Huey Long Assassination on Thursday, June 25 at 6:00 pm in our Hammond Branch to share some insight on his book and a chance for you to get a copy signed!

✨ Join us for an Author Talk with the incredible Shai August at our Amite Branch on June 20th at 1:30 PM.
Shai August, a country girl with a big imagination and a passion for paranormal fiction, will be discussing her captivating works, including her latest, The Shifter Bachelor & The Shifter Bachelorette, and more series from her Independent publication Three Fortnight Press as well.

Known for her fast-paced, character-driven stories centering on Black women, Shai's love language is words of affirmation, books, bacon, and bourbon – a true Louisiana native at heart!
