At last night’s school board meeting, we said a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to our outgoing senior student board representatives, Kaycie Knight and Zephrin Ehrheart. Their leadership, voice, and commitment to representing their peers have made a meaningful impact this year, and we are grateful for their service.

We also welcomed our student board representatives for the year ahead: Ursula Edelman and Kiely Gifford, who will be joining current representatives Madeline Wray and Allison Claridge. Together, these four students will help ensure a strong student voice and representation at the board level.

What an incredible investment in our students and their futures!

Congratulations to the Anacortes Schools Foundation and this year's scholarship recipients. Thanks to the generosity of community donors, more than $535,000 in scholarships was awarded to graduating seniors as they take the next step in their educational journeys.

We are grateful for the continued support of our students and proud of all they have accomplished. Congratulations, graduates, we can't wait to see the impact you'll make in the world!
