For this 2026 Primary Election, I am honored to receive several endorsements and candidate distinctions from these trusted organizations and entities across our state. Each of these organizations play a valuable role fighting for policy solutions, standing up for social justice, and working on behalf of Maryland families. I am grateful for the work we’ve done together during my first term and if re-elected I will continue to fight for Maryland families and be a champion in Annapolis for District 10.

Thank you for believing in our campaign!

Thank you to the James A. Garfield Camp No. 1 Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War for conducting the annual wreath laying ceremony to honor soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Today we remember their sacrifice and those who made the ultimate call. We are grateful for their service and continue to walk in the footsteps of our ancestors who expressed their gratitude to the Union soldiers who liberated them from bo***ge. We remain grateful for their service and sacrifice to this nation. We will always remember and will tell the story for future generations like baby Ryleigh and beyond to remember those veterans who were courageous and served with honor.

Happy Mother’s Day! This may be an annual holiday, but we celebrate our moms, grandmamas, big mamas, god mothers, aunties, bonus moms, church mothers each and every day. We are thankful for their unconditional love, guidance, care, and faith that lifts, carries, and covers us. And for those who may be experiencing Mother’s Day without their mom, child, or loved one, we are holding you in our hearts.

Today is a special Mother’s Day for me as I celebrate this day as a new mom. Ryleigh is such a blessing and being her mom is more than anything I could have imagined. She is my world! I’m grateful to my Mom, mother-in-love, grandmothers, and aunties who have been an outstanding example for me as I walk in this new journey of motherhood. We love you!

Happy Mother’s Day today and always.

Baby Ryleigh and I were pleased to stand in solidarity with our nurses on this . I reflect on my recent pregnancy and birthing experience and forever grateful to the kind and compassionate labor and delivery nurses who checked on me weekly, checking my blood pressures and caring for me as a first time mom. Our nurses do so much for their patients and all of us when we need care. Let’s stand with our nurses, demanding a fair contract, safe working conditions and safe staffing!

My deputy delegate was at home with her grandparents, so I was able to sneak away to visit Owings Mills High School’s Spring Community Resource Fair. As always, it is a pleasure to meet community partners, see good friends, and show some D9 Greek Unity!

In October 2025, I was nearing the end of my maternity leave and baby Ryleigh and I began working on our perinatal mental health bill, which became HB 1118/SB 891. I am grateful for the advocates and organizations who came together to develop a thoughtful and collaborative piece of legislation that will ensure mamas are screened at well baby visits, providers receive perinatal mental health training, and mamas and their families receive patient education.

We had to go to a conference committee over Sine Die weekend, but in the end we passed a clean bill with our collective amendments.

As our legislative session nears its end, thank you to everyone who contributed to this legislation and to Senator Dawn Gile for being our champion in the Senate! Both bills got across the finish line and are on the Governor’s desk. Happy Sine Die!
