Today, we gathered in the Town of Upper Marlboro to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Memorial Day is a reminder that freedom is never free.

This year, we once again honored the Curtis Family and remembered PFC Bernard Eugene Curtis, an Upper Marlboro native who gave his life while serving in Vietnam in 1966. It was an honor to stand beside his sisters and brothers today and remember a hometown hero whose legacy continues to live on through his family and this community. 🇺🇸❤️

Another impactful week in Annapolis. Proud to see not one, but TWO of my bills officially signed into law by the Governor.

HB187 expands opportunities for expungement in cases terminated without finding, helping more Marylanders move forward with dignity and a fair second chance.

HB1345 strengthens protections under the Maryland Trust Act by voiding certain unfair in terrorem clauses in specific circumstances.

Grateful to my colleagues, advocates, and everyone who helped move these important bills across the finish line. We’re continuing to deliver meaningful legislation for the people of Maryland. 💼✍🏽
