All Athens Regional Libraries will be closed Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day.

You will still be able to place holds on items for future pick-up through PINES and our digital collection is always available for your convenience via Libby, the Palace Project, and Kanopy!

We will resume regular operating hours the following day, Tuesday, September 8th.

Athens-Clarke County is seeking artists for a public mural at our new Eastside Library!

The call is open to professional artists or artist teams aged 18 and older. The selected artist will work with community stakeholders and county staff to create a mural celebrating Athens’ history, diversity, and sense of community.

We've broken ground on the long anticipated Eastside Library branch and now we want to celebrate! On August 22nd, please join the Athens Regional Library System in the Hilsman Middle School cafeteria from 1:00-3:00 pm for a community-wide party.
