Fall Fest 2026 was an amazing night for our community!

Our Gators showed off their BEST Halloween costumes and enjoyed an evening full of trunk-or-treating, games, delicious food, and a cake walk. We loved seeing our Gator families come together for a night of Halloween fun.

The BASIS Baton Rouge Materra Gators brought the SPIRIT all week long as we celebrated our Fall Week of Giving 2026!

From creative outfits to showing off their Gator pride, our students went all out each day, filling our hallways with smiles, excitement, and school spirit.

Last week, BASIS Baton Rouge Materra 7th graders took learning beyond the classroom with an unforgettable field trip to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans!

Students had the opportunity to explore the exhibits, discover incredible stories of courage and sacrifice, and gain a deeper understanding of the events and individuals who shaped our world.

Experiences like these bring classroom lessons to life and remind us just how important it is to learn from history!

🐊What a night!

Our 4th Annual Academic Jacket Ceremony was one for the record books, marking the largest event in BASIS Baton Rouge Materra history!

⚜️We were honored to celebrate students who achieved exceptional results on their LEAP, Comprehensive, and AP Exams, earning the distinction of 2026 Academic Scholar. Each scholar received an academic jacket in recognition of their dedication, perseverance, and outstanding academic achievement.

We are incredibly proud of all that these students have accomplished and grateful to the families, faculty, and staff who support them every step of the way.
